Hinter den Kulissen vom diesjährigen Adventskalender!

Behind the scenes of this year’s Advent calendar!

For the fifth time in a row, I'm creating an Advent calendar with stationery from my shop!

It is always a highlight of the year for me to plan, design, pack and decorate everything :)

This year is special  ✨ special ✨ because there are so many exclusive products! For example, two sticker sheets, several stamps, a washi tape, two wooden products, stationery items, and more stickers that will never be available in the shop! So it's definitely worth it ☺️ I plan to publish another blog post in mid/late October, where all the products will be featured, for people who want to get an overview first to see if they'd even like the products.

I've been planning it since August and worked on it continuously for the first two weeks of September. My internship has now started, which is why I'm working 40 hours on the side, so I'm working on the remaining "doors" in the evenings and on weekends. At the same time, I'm also working on finishing and releasing the fall collection.

This year, I decided to only offer mixed Advent calendars. In 2021, I had a sticker, a washi tape, a stamp, and a mixed Advent calendar to choose from, but I learned that four different Advent calendars was a bit much work 😅 This year, there's also the option to order just half an Advent calendar. This way, you can support two small businesses, for example, and have more choice.

As of now, 14 doors are finished (20 each), and 10 are still in production. The number of doors is always a difficult decision for me. I always start with a presale (and hope that everyone orders them right away, which unfortunately never quite works out 🥹) and then begin creating. This year, I'm making 20 because I always hope to sell them all, which means I run the risk of ending up with a lot of small packages. It might not seem like much, but for a small business like me, 20 packages is a joyous celebration <3

I'll be posting more little updates on Instagram from time to time, so feel free to check it out :) And thanks for your interest and reading! 🫶🏼
